We’re really looking forward to gathering together again on Sunday at 4:00pm at Redmaids’ High School.
We’d love you to join us.
As restrictions lift, we aim to provide a well-ventilated and well-spaced out environment in which we hope all will feel safe and welcome.
As a church family, we are committed to loving each other by respecting the fact that there will be a range of feelings about the easing of restrictions and some may wish to adopt a more cautious approach than others.
Before you arrive
There is enough space and flexibility in the hall for us not to need to book spaces in advance. So please just come along. Stewards will steer you to the type of seating you feel most comfortable in (see below).
We will be asking everyone to sanitise their hands as they enter. There will be the option of assisting with test and trace by scanning a QR code.
We will keep social distancing while people feel their way back into things. There will be two zones (plus the option of sitting outdoors under cover, with a clear view of the what’s going on at the front)
Zone B will give people some space to spread out
Zone A will give people lots of space to spread out
Stewards will direct you to the zone you’d prefer to sit in. Zone A will be set up so that there is separate access and those sitting in it will be given time to leave before others move from their seats.
As Redmaids’ is a large, well-ventilated space and we will be sitting at distance from one another, face masks will not be a requirement for attending. But please wear one if you would like to and please be mindful of how others might be feeling about the relaxation of restrictions. We will, however, ask everyone in Zone A to wear a mask.
We will be able to sing together. If you would rather not be in amongst singing, please head towards the back of Zone A.
We will encourage people to do all socialising outdoors in the field next to the hall.
We will not be serving refreshments in the usual way, but will be encouraging people to bring their own to enjoy outdoors after the service.
We run a creche and a range of groups for children aged 3 up to school year 9. When you arrive a team of welcomers will make sure you know when to take children to their groups and when to go.
Please do not attend if you are required to self-isolate or are presenting with any of the following symptoms:
- Headache, fever, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, new persistent cough.
Hugely looking forward to being together on Sunday!
