The desire for relationships, for intimacy and affection, is fundamental to the purpose and meaning of our lives as creatures made in the image of God.” Glynn Harrison
Society tells us that intimacy = sex. But the Bible teaches that intimacy = a sense of oneness, of feeling at home with, God, yourself and others. But how do we actually experience that counter-cultural definition of intimacy for ourselves?
Over 3 Wednesdays evenings (7.45pm for 8-9.30pm) in August we’ll be investigating what we should be thinking and doing to enjoy authentic intimacy.
Wednesday 8th – Intimacy with God
Wednesday 15th – Intimacy with Yourself
Wednesday 22nd – Intimacy with Others
You can come to all three or just one or two. But please let us know which evening(s) you plan to attend.
