A Turbulent Priest

From BBC comedy writer James Cary (Miranda, Bluestone 42, Milton Jones), comes a new play; A Turbulent Priest.

850 years ago Thomas Becket was famously murdered by four knights in Canterbury Cathedral. A Turbulent Priest follows the extraordinary story of Becket and King Henry II – their bromance, bust-up and betrayals.

“Altogether, Cary and Sherwood’s commitment to comprehensive storytelling is admirable, and a touch of 12th-century silliness makes this a happy two hours of escapism.” Church Times review
